Two Day PhD Course/Seminar On Choice Modelling by Joffre Swait and Jordan Louviere, Professors of Marketing, Centre for the Study of Choice (CenSoC), The University of Technology, Sydney
Jordan Louviere and Joffre Swait (UTS) will each do one day of a two-day PhD-level course on choice modelling on November 24-25, 2011. The first day focuses on theory and associated statistical models, history, state of the art, the research frontier, and unresolved, interesting and important research questions. The second day focuses on collecting data consistent with the theory and associated models, a focus on designing ways of collecting real market data, the pros and cons of currently available data (eg, scanner panel data) and design and use of discrete choice experiments. The second day reviews history, state of the art, the research frontier, and unresolved interesting and important research questions.
