Call for Applications – Editor – International Journal of Bank Marketing

The International journal of Bank Marketing presents the latest research, practice and thinking on issues of current and future concern for financial services marketers.

The focus of the journal is on the adoption and implementation marketing management, business and consumer behaviour in the personal, corporate and international sectors of financial services.

The journal is now in its 30th year and is currently available in well over 2,000 universities around the world. Readership of the journal is extensive, registering over 200,000 article downloads in 2011.

This is also leading to strong citation activity – the H index for the journal available via Scopus stands at 17. This shows a good level of citation activity and compares very well with titles which are both more general and more highly rated in terms of ABS ranking etc.

The journal is included in Scopus and numerous journal rankings including ABS (UK) and ABDC (Australia). It uses the Scholar 1 online submission system.

The current Editor, Professor Jillian Farquhar will be stepping down from her role at the end of the 2012 Volume.  This comes after a number of years of sterling effort in building up the journal. We would therefore welcome expressions of interest from those wishing to take on this role.
